10.1 Create a Task
In Horizon2 you can create a task list for yourself to assist you with keeping track of application or tasks that need completing. Across the top of the screen is a button for
. When you click on this button a screen pops up.
This pop up is where you are able to
and
tasks. You will see your list of tasks appear in this box when they are:
Created
Due
Allocated to you
To create a task select
and a new screen will load. In this screen you enter:
Task Subject*
Task Details*
Assign to*
Priority* - Low, Normal, High
Due Date
Once you have completed these field click
. You will then be taken to a Tasks screen with two tabs, My Task and Assigned Task.
My Task list is where you will see the task you have just created. Assigned Task is where you will see tasks you have assigned to someone else.
If you are in an application and want to create a Task as a reminder you will need to follow these easy steps:
Be in the application you want to create the Task for
Click

Confirm if you want to create a task for the application. Click 
Enter Task Subject*
Enter Task Details*
Enter Assign To*
Enter Priority*
Enter Due Date
Click 
You will be taken to the list of tasks. On the My Tasks list the Task Subject will be in blue. This makes the subject a hyperlink. You can click on the hyperlink to take you back into the application.
10.2 Assign a Task
There are two ways a task can be assigned to you:
By yourself
By someone else
To assign the task to yourself select your name from a drop down list of people when you
the task. To assign a task to someone else select their name from the drop down box. They will then receive a notification in the notification bell.
10.3 Manage a Task
Once you have created or allocated task you can update information as required. To update a task click on
. The task will then open for you to update. You can update the Due Date, write Note and update the task Status. Task Status are selected from a drop down box. The status option are:
Not Started
In Progress
Waiting on someone else
Deferred
Completed
One you have completed your update click
. The task will then update and you will be taken back to the task list.
When you receive a notification in the
of a task that is due click on the notification and you will be taken to the Task. You can then click on the blue hyperlink to find out more details on the notification or click
to read more on the Task. You can them update the Task and click
. If you want to go back in to the application click
and the application will load.
